Ahoy Mateys! Check out this book from the early 1960s. It looks like this pretty nurse enjoyed taking care of all of her patients, even the ones who were pirates. Of course you know that she converts her rowdy pirate into a well-mannered gentlemen, and they live happily ever after. I guess she got through to him because she knew how to talk like a pirate.

*a-hem*. I believe the proper piratical nomenclature is thus:
“Arggggggg, ye landlubbers!
We’ll keelhaul ye.. then tie yer arse to th’ mizzenmast
til yer sober…no rum rations fer ye bloody sots, then!
Ye chum bucket rejects ye…
