Sanity is madness put to good use. - George Santayana

Look at this group of senior medical students working on their patient. Don’t they look impressive? The student off to the left looks like a young Ben Casey. I wonder what he was thinking. “The foot bone connected to the leg bone, the leg bone connected to the knee bone.” Meanwhile the guys hanging over the railing are yelling, “Hey, hurry up. It’s time for Grand Rounds!” I can’t blame them for their excitement. This week’s edition of Grand Rounds is being hosted by Enrico from Mexico Medical Student. Bravo Maestro Enrico for another great edition of Grand Rounds.
There has been a lot of chatter in the blogosphere about medical bloggers and HIPPA regulations so let me make this very clear: I write composite stories about many different people that I've cared for over the years.

I thought the same thing about the student on the left, only he looks like the unfortunate recipient of some ruthless pimping: “DOCTOR WideEyes, would you please be so kind as to tell me what is the nerve is that innervates the muscle whose aponeurosis I’m currently incising and what the clinical presentation would be if it were damaged? [pause] TODAY, Dr. WideEyes.”
Dr. Wideyes: “I like Jell-O.”
