I have the Barbie in Civil War Nurses outfit, mint in box. Got it off eBay a few years back. It’s part of my eclectic nursing ephemera collection. I wish I had my original Barbie, Ken, Midge, Allen, Skipper, etc, etc, etc. I got Babs and Kenny the 2nd year they were out.

Yeah Barbie!! I still wear a “0″, it just has a number in front of it.

My Barbie is a brunette bubble-style from 1962. I purchased a mint-condition nursing outfit (will all the trimmings) off of eBay and plopped her into it. I had always wanted the nursing outfit – thank God for eBay! : D

I was a Barbie child. All other dolls scared me. Mine was determined to ride horses. She didn’t do dresses.
