Second.. I remember quite vividly your first Tweets! It was quite entertaining and awesome!
I agree, Twitter is so darn addicting and so fun. I too have met so many wonderful people.

Back to beautiful nurses…. yawn….. you must work in PACU to be a beautiful nurse. The men come in wearing their beer goggles from anesthesia, and we all know the old joke about picking out the ugliest woman at the bar. When she starts to look good, it is time for the man to quit drinking.

On that note, I guess I need to twitter over to see what Dr. Hess has to offer.

I just can’t get into the whole twitter thing… but I am addicted to facebook and health blogs… hmm.
On a side note–
I agree with Dr Hess about the charming thing… come work with me at my “UGH!” I need some witty nursing companions in my life!

Although I don’t tweet very much, I do enjoy keeping up with my friends who do (and following new friends too). Plus, being able to hang out in cyber space with Wil Wheaton and other such awesome nerds.

I’m not so sure plastic surgery would be such a great recruiting tool up here, on a certain island, which may have to remain nameless at the moment… maybe a free smart car or kayak lessons… or, hey, how about a new CEO for our health authority? hehehe.

I suspect the Twitter phenomenon may be short-lived. I had a conversation with my 20-year-old-Facebook-addicted daughter wherein the subject of Twitter came up… and she’d never heard of it. If the kids aren’t into it… and we have to squint and see the screen… I’m thinking it won’t last.

I hear sow’s ears purses are all the rage in Milan. (Get it? “hear?” LOL!)

We *ALL* could use plastic surgery if we critique hard enough but no cosmetic improvements last forever; the qualities of the person just get richer with time. *muah*

(of course, then there’s getting bitter and forgetful in old age, yelling at kids to get off your lawn then realizing the kids are 40-year-olds working for the nursing home whose job it is to do the yardwork, but I’m trying to keep this positive… ROTFL)
