Yeah Baby, we’ve come a long way. Check out this nursing uniform. Can you believe that turn-of-the-century nurses like this one use to wear uniforms like this to work? Imagine trying to give patient care while wearing a high starched collar, a long skirt, and long white sleeves. I bet you anything that this nurse spent hours washing and ironing her uniform before she got dressed for work. I also bet you that her uniform was soiled within five minutes of arriving onto the unit. Thank goodness for the advent of scrubs.
