When I decided to go back to school as an adult I didn’t think there would be many scholarships for people like me–already had one college degree, well over 18, full time job while going to school. However, it turned out I was wrong, there is lots of money out there for the asking (or applying). Application time is now for a lot of that money and we recently added some interesting scholarships available to our other money info. http://www.rncentral.com/blog/2012/its-time-to-fill-out-rn-scholarship-applications/
Check it out and good luck.

There are several valuable sources of information about nursing schools and nursing as a career choice in general. Personally I use http://www.lpntrainingprograms.org/ as my resource for LPN programs and LPN training information and to increase my knowledge base. Jennifer Olin is right, there are a lot of scholarships out there, you just need to look hard enough.

I’m new to healthcare industry, currently taking CNA training in Arizona from a nursing home which I found at http://ecnatraining.org/cna-training-classes-in-arizona/. I got financial support from the nursing home after contracting to work with them at least 6 months.

I’m an adult going back to school for Nursing and trying to get my BSN- there’s so much competition! I am confident that I will get in because I scored in the 93 percentile on my teas and I have a 4.0 GPA, but I wouldn’t be able to do it without financial aid!
